Mallow United's Under 14s will play in the cup final at Turner's Crosson Thursday evening with a kick-off at 19.30. A supporters bus will leave the Town Park at 18.15- € 5. Please support our lads !
 
FAI Summer Soccer School
The FAI Summer Soccer School will take place this summer at St. Mary's Secondary School from July 23rd - 27th.
 
Walk of Dreams
The John Giles Foundation Walk of Dreams took place on May 7th and turned out to be a great success with over three hundred people taking part in the walk. We had clubs from all over North Cork joining Mallow United, the host club, on the walk around Mallow town. The club would like to thank everyone for making this day a great success.
 
Soccer4Fun
The Club's soccer session for 5 year olds (2006) and 6 year olds (2005) continues this Saturday in the Town Park. Registration will be at 10 o'clock and the soccer will start at 10.30. The session will last for one hour. Contact Eddie on 087-2524788.
 
Golf Classic
The Mallow United Golf Classic took place on Thursday April 26th at Mallow Golf Club. The club would like to thank everyone who took part on the day and over 40 teams teed off. We appreciate your support.
 
Cork Squads
Craig Lynch scored a cracking goal for the Cork Under 15s in a 3-0 win over Limerick to qualify for the Munster Inter League Final. Jack Singleton came on as a second half substitue in that win. Greg Barrett played his part in a 1-0 win for Cork Under 13s over West Cork.
 
United Youths Win League Cup Final !
The Club would like to congratulate our Youths team and their coaches Billy and Sean on their wonderful win last week in the Munster Youths League Cup Final. They defeated Leeds on a scoreline of 3 goals to 2 at Turner's Cross. Some photos can be seen here.

Under 15s
The Club will be entering two Under 15 teams in the Cork Schoolboys League this year. Players born in 1997 are eligible. Our season runs from late October until May. These months have the advantage of not interfering with other sports which run through the summer. This is a great opportunity to maintain fitmenss levels across the winter months. Seniors versus Legends
On Saturday the 22nd of May before a large attendance, in very hot conditions, a game was staged between our Senior team and a team comprised of a number of the Legends of Mallow United F.C. The game was played for the honour of of attaining the Wilsey Cremin Cup. After a very enjoyable game the final score was 3 - 3 with the Legends going on to take the cup on penalties. Our club photographer Ger Spillane was there, camera in hand, to capture some moments from the game. His photos can be seen here.

Glasgow International Easter Cup 2011
Over the Easter weekend a small group of players and mentors traveled to Glasgow to take part in the Glasgow International Easter Cup tournament. The trip report can be read here and you can view photos from the tournament here.

Opening of new St Gobnait's facility
On last Saturday May 29th the Schoolboys section of Mallow United was privileged to have Mr. John Delaney CEO of the FAI in St.Gobnait’s Park to officially open the new clubhouse. The weather held dry as the guests, players, and parents gathered for this momentous occasion. Report and photos from the opening can be seen here.
